Warhammer Underworlds welcomes another warband soon in the form of the Starblood Stalkers. The Seraphon are getting some fun new miniatures from Games Workshop as they get stuck into some quick skirmishes within The Mortal Realms of Warhammer: Age Of Sigmar.

This new warband is a welcome return of the Seraphon to The Mortal Realms and as well as being useful as part of this skirmish game they could also be slotted into a larger army if you so desired.

The warband is made up of four Skink Hunters, one of them as a Chameleon Skink as well as a Saurus Oldblood. These warriors are then led by the mighty Kixi-Taka who is using some of their most prized relics in order to enact the will of the Slann. They might not look it but they are here to make sure that order is restored to Ghur.

This looks like a great set of miniatures and because of the bright colour schemes you normally see on Seraphon, I reckon you'd be encouraged to dive in and work on these with some poppy Contrast paints and plenty of gold! You could easily do the blending on the feathers for example with a choice selection of Contrast paints.

Looking Ahead

As well as the new Starblood Stalkers warband we also got a teaser as to what's coming up next.

Some elements of this miniature have been teased before like the sword and hilt but beyond that, it's still a bit of a guessing game. My vote would be for one of two routes. On the one hand, you could have a Vampire in a more traditional sense compared to the Flesh-eater Courts. We could instead be looking at the corsairs and pirates of the Dark Aelves that raid the seas of The Mortal Realms.

I am eager to see where they go next as the warbands from Warhammer Underworlds are always good fun. They seem like fun avenues into the wider world of Age Of Sigmar.

Are you tempted by the Starblood Stalkers?
