Start Aggressive Negotiations With Star Wars: Legion’s Padme Amidala

Fantasy Flight Games are slowly getting back into the groove when it comes to updating us on what's new for Star Wars: Legion. Their tabletop miniatures game set in a galaxy far, far away will soon be introduced to Padme Amidala!

The miniature for Padme Amidala comes with a few options when building her. You can either go with her ELG-3A Blaster Pistol or use her looted E-5 Blaster instead if you want a bit of extra firepower. She is no slouch when it comes to tackling her foes either, equally good at dealing with enemies from range or up close and personal should the need arise.

Even as an Operative within your force, she still works well as a commanding figure thanks to the use of her Authoritative and Exemplar special rules. There's no reason to think she couldn't get stuck into a scrap of her own with a few Clone Troopers to back her up.
She also comes with a bevvy of different cards and upgrades which you can use to fine-tune the character to fit the way you play. I do like that they've included artwork in the mix inspired by The Clone Wars cartoon series as this showed off just how badass she can be.

Padme Amidala and Cad Bane are supposed to be coming to tabletops in July. Hopefully, the threat of coronavirus and the effect it has had on the industry isn't going to delay the release of miniatures for wargamers too much but cross your fingers and believe in the Force just in case.
With Amidala now part of the mix we desperately need to see Anakin leap into the fray alongside maybe some cool options to support both the Light and Dark side of the Force? Ahsoka Tano anyone? Asajj Ventress? Maybe we'll even see them work on a general Jedi Commander/Operative box which could be used across your forces?
Will you be adding Padme into your collection?

That looks really nice.
The painted model pciture looks a bit weird and nothing like Padme.
Yeah, must have been sculpted by the same person that did the Han Solo :p
looks like the cartoon version?
I hadn’t thought of that possibility…hmm
I think you might be on to something there.
She really does look a bit like the cartoon one, it’s still strange while the Obi-Wan form the starter set wears the armor from the cartoon the head looks much more like the movie version and Count Dooku also looks like from the movies.
Different scupters may have liked different pictures to work with?
a good strong character to play as.
I am unable to distance myself from NP’s performance in ‘Your Heighness’. Or is it called ‘Your Majesty’? That movie is so silly.
