Star Wars The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer Is Out!
November 28, 2014 by brennon
If you're a Star Wars fan then you'll want to check out the teaser trailer (a real one this time) for Star Wars: The Force Awakens which is coming in December next year...
Give it a watch and tell us what you think!
Are you excited?
Pleasantly surprised…
the Millenium Falcon, X-wings, Tie fighters, stormtroopers… everything you need for a decent Star Wars movie… this looks like it could be the real episode IV
Holy spam juice, that looks like it might not completely suck.
This looks fantastic :o)
Finally! A lightsabre with crossguard!
Agreed. It’s a shiny energy sword that sort of looks like an actual sword, and even makes concessions to protecting the wielder’s fingers – you have to love that.
Oh, and the crackling sound is rather nice too.
Not just that, but also the potential to “catch” an opponent’s blade I doubt there will be any “blade breaking” involved… but, still…
The narrower beam/blade leads me to think there might be some old-school fencing moves to be seen.
Vapour trails off the Falcon?! Wheeee!
Setting up X-wing table as soon as I get home!
I’m still shaking. I just regressed 38 years to my 7 year old self.
Couldn’t have said it better! 😀
I love it!
Watched it 5 times now and I keep losing the plot when the music starts and the Falcon bursts onto the screen.
Must go and get a grip.
hmmm get a grip on what???
On a crossguard lightsaber ! 😀
Too….many…dirty….jokes…must….resist……
Give in… Give in to the Dark Side !
Kill…. for the dark side ♫

Excitement levels are rising!
It seems folks are suitably teased lol
Is that a Star Destroyer in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?
Trailers can be deceptive. We must be cautious….
It’s a trap!
Dear Mr Lucas. Thank you for EP I – III. I think you meant well. At least you kept my interest in Star Wars alive long enough to be excited by EP VII.
Dear Mr Abrams. I was *also* this excited when I first saw the trailer of EP I so make of that what you will. That said, I would be totally happy if your first film shows an X-Wing flying around in circles for 120 minutes.
..also, +1 for *everybody* because Star Wars.
I did it too, we should be careful we don’t devalue the kharma currency
Oh dear this looks terrible. Let’s just hope the teaser is just bad and it’s not the film.
Why is it bad?
What makes it bad in your opinion ?
Hopefully it has good writers i.e. NOT the idiots behind the Star Trek reboots.
I don’t want to have to sit through plot holes the size of Star Trek reboot plot holes thank you.
I didn’t find any plot holes in the Star Trek reboots… Well, nothing to write home about anyway. I think it was all rather well done.
And I’d be grateful if the next Star Wars were to be as good as them !
I let out a little squeal of excitement. This looks like proper Star Wars 😀
What? No podracing? 😉
What do you mean I have to wait another year to see all of this goodness!
Is that Benedict Cumberbatch doing the voice over?
Hmm you know what, you could be right. Star Wars returning to form – after all, how will you know who the bad guys are unless they are English? 😉
Everyone knows that the surest indicator of a Hollywood bad guy is a refined yet sinister British accent – elocution lessons are clearly manditory at all the best villainy schools.
One may be an evil, megalomaniacal tyrant, but that does not mean that one can’t have standards… 🙂
Apparently, the Dark Side boasts not only cookies but also cool accents, the sneaky gits. How is anybody supposed to resist evil, lighsabre-wielding Sherlock Holms…?
This could be the one you are looking for?
Yes!
Anyone else get a saving private Ryan vibe when you see the stormies in the dropship?
I thought that clip was the most.. JJ Abrams.. out of the lot of them. The way it was shot, it could just as easily have been Kirk et al about to jump out of the back of the shuttle on the Klingon homeworld. Or.. something.
Not in a bad way, though. And hey, no lens flares 😀
You DO know that this kind of “JJ Abrams” style in Star Trek was directly inspired by what the man had seen and wanted to see in Star Wars, right ?
Yep, the ‘troopers looked gritty enough to be in the Nolan’s Batman movie. 🙂
Oh my gosh! I can’t wait! I can’t believe it’s another year away! It might as well be a galaxy far, far away….. sigh. Couldn’t help it. 😉
OMG that looked so good!
I was sceptical about it, coming from episodes I-III it’s no surprise, but those X-Wings and Stormtroopers melted my heart!
The only bad thing about it is the waiting for a full year to see it.
Definitely a movie worth standing in lines for premiere.
