Stab Foes In The Back & Inspire With Faith In Conquest

Para Bellum Wargames has been delving into some new character releases for the world of Conquest recently as they showed off options for both the Spires and Hundred Kingdoms.

The first of the new characters is the Mimetic Assassin for The Spires. This deadly killer is engineers specifically to hunt down and kill commanders in the enemy army. Whenever someone, or something, needs killing, these assassins are let loose to hunt down their intended target.

The model looks fantastic, focusing on that twisted alien look of The Spires. It does look like a creature that has been bred for a single purpose.

Fury In Faith

As well as this assassin for The Spires we have a Theist Priest who is there to inspire faith and bring your Hundred Kingdoms forces together on the battlefield.

"Their origins are steeped in the lore of the Old Dominion, where both steel and faith armed and armoured the armies of Hazlia and the earliest records of the Church Apostles heed back to the turbulent times that followed the Fall: the Exodus and early years that named the Bitter Sea."

This character totally rocks my jimmies (clearly a phrase right?)! I love the way the armour has been designed and that helmet in particular. He reminds me of the kind of characters you would have seen in the Dragon Age series and also Kingdom Under Fire which was an intense game you need to check out if you haven't before.
