Brother Vinni’s St. Brendan Of Clonfert Inspires Your Warriors
August 29, 2017 by brennon
Brother Vinni has added to their SAGA range, for use in your Dark Age games, with St. Brendan Of Clonfert. Are you in need of some divine inspiration?
Known by many titles Brendan Of Clonfert is one of the early Irish monastic saints. He is most known for his journey to the "Isle Of The Blessed" so maybe you could work that into your sagas on the tabletop.
You could work his tales into a sense of reality too. Whilst there were many fantastical elements to his tale, and it was of course, overtly Christian in tone, you could actually turn his voyage into one where your warband is escorting him on his journey to Iceland (which is where many believe was his actual destination).
You can also pick up a version of Brendan pointing and directing his men into the trials ahead.
What do you think of the sculpt?

love him.
These are just fantastic. It’s amazing what some people are able to do.
I’ll definitely be picking up the Navigator, without him Colmbus may never have found the Americas.
Cracking sculpt
Or you could just play a fantasy SAGA game with him.
Doesn’t need to be a fantasy game of Saga. He was a real person and Saga has rules for priests.
Looks good. Besides Vikings need some priest or monk to cut down.
The first one looks like me going into my kids room to collect dishes she’s left in there.
