Spellcrow’s Hobgoblin Grabs Himself a Sword
June 19, 2016 by dracs
Spellcrow recently unveiled the latest in their upcoming selection of Hobgoblins, a sneaky little green clutching a sword that's far too big for it.
For their Hobgoblins, Spellcrow seem to have gone for a far more classical, sneaky design, rather than the more comical goblins we often see. This model wouldn't look out of place in either a Rackham illustration of a Jim Henson movie.
The model itself has a ton of small details and paraphernalia, ranging from the giant skull on the hobgoblin's shoulder to the primal style of its sword. However, I think the best thing about it are the goat legs, which together with its face go to make it look more diabolical, like if Mephistopheles had been a goblin. It would make the perfect boss for a beginner's dungeon, or even an evil adventurer.
Do you like Spellcrow's take on these fantasy favourites?
