Spellcrow’s New Dwarf Forges Objectives For Space Elves
April 15, 2016 by dracs
Spellcrow have some new goodies on the way for fans of both fantasy and Sci-Fi, as a couple of new objective markers for the Space Elves get released and a Dwarf Blacksmith heads out soon after.
Get Hammered Into Shape
This Friday, Spellcrow will be releasing their new Dwarf Blacksmith and strike while the iron is hot.
Blacksmiths seem to have become rather romantic figures of fantasy. Dwarf Blacksmiths in particular can be considered a by word for quality metal work.
I have to admit, I am rather torn about this model. I really like the above arm pose and the accompanying anvil. However, there is something about the proportions, especially the position of the head, that makes the dwarf look a little off.
The Mysterious Objectives of Space Elves
Meanwhile, in the far future, Spellcrow have revealed the objectives of the mysterious Space Elves.
These objective markers do make for nice, thematic pieces to use in your games, keeping to what we now tend to think of as Eldar architecture. Yet, I can't help but think they do look a little like computer joysticks.
Would you go to Spellcrow's Blacksmith for some metal work? Do you like the look of their Space Elf Objective Markers?

He is all head…. Gods, ALL HEAD!
Yeah, I don’t really like the Dwarf – it is a great sculpt and well detailed but the proportions are just Wrong.
reminds me of the Gimli seen in the lord of the rings where he try’s to destroy Sauron’s ring?
The dwarf’s proportions are very much like the Rackham dwarves… right or wrong. I like them now because my tastes in art have evolved (and probably nostalgia) but at the time I remember not buying any because they looked a bit difformed. However, when someone not Rackham does it, it just feels wrong. Like they’re badly copying, you know.
