Spellcrow Spawn a Plague Centurion
March 26, 2015 by dracs
Spellcrow have show off two more of their latest sculpts for their expanding selection disgusting Plague Knights of the far future.
First we get our initial look at a Plague Centurion.
Kitted out in far heavier armour than the standard Plague Knights, this Centurion is even more repulsively diseased than Spellcrow's Plague Lord. I particularly like all the exposed piping at the joints, it gives the armour an organic look.
One step above the Centurion in terms of twisted sickness is this Spawn Spellcrow have just previewed.
I must say, twisted and mutated though he is, this Spawn certainly looks very cheerful. I think this is particularly fitting with the daemons of Nurgle in Warhammer 40k, as I have always imagined them as being very jovial and even friendly. They just happen to be utterly repulsive.
Think Spellcrow's plague will spread to your collection?

It may be inspired by another company, but guess what, it looks cool
As a Nurgle CSM player im always on the hunt for alternative themed models that GW don’t cater for. At the moment i’m looking for Nurgle obliterators and spawn. I’ve seen some great proxies and the centurion would make a great alternative though im still not off the idea of just converting my own. The ‘spawn’ is a real let down though. Too ‘cartoon’ like and the pose is poor. I have the Spellcrow chaos lord which is superb but these aren’t doing it for me. Shame.
