Modiphius is now taking pre-orders for a new set of warbands for use in The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms. You are able to get your hands on a range of mages, thieves, undead fiends and more for use in this 32mm Fantasy skirmish game which can be played in a number of different ways.

Draugr Scourges - The Elder Scrolls Call To Arms

Draugr Scourges // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms

Leading the way, we have the deadly Draugr Scourges who have been awakened from their tombs by adventurers who have decided to disturb their rest. The set comes with a fearsome Draugr Death Overlord as well as a Scourge Lord and three Scourges. The Draugr are some of the coolest enemies in Skyrim, even if they're quite numerous, and I love the idea of playing a warband specifically tied to them.

You could also use these to bolster the different types of enemies you'll end up running into during your cooperative and single-player adventures. There are plenty of barrows for you to ransack and that means loads of Draugr to battle.

Talking of those who plunder tombs and awaken the undead, you can also get your hands on the Thieves Guild set. If you've ever gone down this quest line in Skyrim then you'll be very familiar with these characters.

Thieves Guild - The Elder Scrolls Call To Arms

Thieves Guild // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms

All of these characters are named but you could also use them to represent a selection of regular thieves and mercenaries if you prefer. You get Niruin, Brynjolf, Delvin Mallory, Mercer Frey, Karliah and Vex. Working together, this band of thieves could break into any abode in Skyrim and make off with the jewels around your neck! They might even do it before stabbing you in the back.

If you're seeking to take the more learned path then you can also snap up the College Of Winterhold which allows you to take a different path when it comes to guild selection. Master your magical powers with these spellcasters.

College Of Winterhold // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms

This set comes with J'Zargo, Colette Marence, Ancano, Savos, Mirabelle Ervine and Faralda. I love that you have some of these mages who are contemplating their next move and then others who are in the process of casting spells to either protect or destroy. This set seems like a good opportunity to paint your favourite spells and play around with different skin tones for the various Fantasy races from The Elder Scrolls.

Last but not least, you can throw your lot in with the Thalmor and go down the secretive and mysterious route when it comes to exploring the world of The Elder Scrolls.

Thalmor Patrol - The Elder Scrolls Call To Arms

Thalmor Patrol // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms

This set comes with a band of Elves who are working behind the scenes to enact their own power play across Tamriel. You might also see these Thalmor wandering the roads of Skyrim, transporting prisoners who are going to be interrogated about their actions.

You get miniatures for a Thalmor Interrogator, two Justicar Warriors, two Justicar Archers and a Justicar Wizard. I think these are going to be excellent to see painted up for games where you're looking to stick one to the Thalmor! Sneak into mansions, castles and the like and try and unearth their various plans.

All of the miniatures come with those nice scenic bases as well so you can keep things in-world as your painting your miniatures.

Will you be diving in and if so, which warband will you be picking?
