Spectre Miniatures Launch New Mythos Supplement This Week
November 22, 2024 by brennon
For those who got excited about the upcoming Mythos supplement for Spectre Operations, we have some good news! Spectre Miniatures are releasing the new supplement and miniatures today for you to scoop up for some Lovecraftian adventures.
Agents // Spectre Mythos
The team at Spectre are going to be releasing a brand new set of miniatures covering Agents, Investigators, Cultists, Civilians and more for you to use in a special set of skirmish rules that modify the core rules of Spectre Operations.
We had seen some of the early sneak peeks at this range a couple of weeks ago but now we're seeing more of the finished, painted miniatures from their studio.
Innmouth Folk // Spectre Mythos
I think this is a great idea and, as we mentioned when discussing this on the Weekender, Spectre's rules seem perfect for a Lovecraftian and Cthulhu-esque adventure. You have the focus on a small team of specialists going "behind enemy lines" to achieve their objective. In this case, it's stopping terrible rituals rather than capturing a VIP or stopping a missile launch. Equally, the game's use of a Games Master of a sort helps to add the odd surprise into the mix for your games.
Elder Thing // Spectre Mythos
Whilst this is still a little bit of a preview of what Spectre has coming out this weekend, we'll no doubt revisit this range and show off more images soon. Make sure to keep the Spectre Operations website bookmarked if you're looking for some fun new Lovecraftian miniatures and an alternative set of rules for your tabletop investigations.

I really like the look and feel to these guys
Cool looking minis!
I can probably find a use for the tommy gun bunch.
yeah, even without the mythos angle they would work well for Spectre scenarios in the early 20th century.
Like a couple of cops raiding the mob at one of their hideouts …
Then there’s “The Chicago Way” as rules that could fit.
Did Warcradle sell Mythos to Spectre Miniatures or did Spectre just do their own?
This is a different game from the Warcradle one
A cool bunch of minis for the pulp era. Tactical operation with Lovecraftian elements sounds interesting. The cerebral elements of investigation seem to overshadow the raids on nests of cosmic blaphemies and this would be a good entry to let the weirdness out.
It’s got to be said, I’m more interested in the agents for something like the Chicago Way. These are probably the best figures for that era I’ve seen.
Those agents look awesome.
