New Spectral Swordsmen & A Cunning Geisha For Zenit’s Kensei
January 19, 2018 by brennon
Zenit Miniatures look towards some new releases for the end of January. This means more deadly looking undead and a cunning killer too for both Kensei and Torii.
The first of the new releases is the massive Kogen with two rusty looking swords that appear to have been coated in the blood of hundreds. The model looks very, very cool and the mix between the ghostly look and traditional skeletal appearance works nicely indeed.
The Kogen might be the one leading these creatures into battle. Here we have Yurei No Dachi.
Imagine these shadowy wraiths being summoned up from the battlefield, their swords rising as they let out a ghostly wail before attacking.
Cunning Killer
Back in the world of the mortals, we have this Geisha with a sword at the ready. You could see her playing her role before slitting the throat of some warlord or another.
I like the idea that maybe this lady isn't all she seems either. Imagine if she is a little darker and shadowy beneath the robes and painted face - a demonic force!
Rulebook
You will also be able to pick up the Kensei Rulebook alongside a free miniature as well right now.
Have you looked towards the world of Kensei or Torii as your tabletop game of choice? They really have done some impressive stuff, especially with the undead as you'll have seen in this piece.
What do you think?

Zenit makes really fantastic figures.
they are incredible indeed. don’t know what’s the game worth
Those look amazing.
Kogen is the great leader of the whole undead army.
The geisha mini had been offered as a free SG during their last KS. I already have mine and she is great.
I’ve done an unboxing of my pledge here:
