Spartan Games Makes it Easier For You to Play Dystopian Legions

Spartan Games is trying to let people know that they have a really good game in Dystopian Legions. One way they are doing this is by creating new boxed sets to make it easier for a new player to get into their game.
They are offering till the end of April special army deals for the Prussian Empire or the Kingdom of Britannia, they both include 1 box of officers and infantry, 2 boxes of line infantry with Sergeants, 1 infantry expansion box, a resin ironclad, full colour rulebook, all the tokens and templates you will need to get into this game and if that wasn't enough they will ship it free anywhere in the world!
If you don't know about Dystopian Legions, Spartan Games describes it best:
"Dystopian Legions is a fast-paced, action-packed 32mm (foot to eye) scale tabletop game set in the exciting world of Dystopian Wars, where Victorian super science fiction has created a fascinating and brutal arena for a deadly world war.
Having brought carnage to the Dystopian battlefields with giant tanks, massive airships and technologically advanced naval vessels it is now time to get up close and personal with your warfare. It is up to your platoons of infantry to storm enemy positions, capture towns, secure strategic objectives and devastate rival nations."
Not having played this game myself, I would be interested to hear what others who have thought of it.
Is this enough of an incentive to get you into the world of Dystopian Legions?

I would like to get into it since the models look amazing and i like steampunk, plus 32 mm is for me much better than the normal 28 heroic scale. But right now i have a ton of stuff that needs to hit the table and be painted as best as i can… so sorry but not yet. Hope they will stick around by the end of the year.
Those are some really nice boxed sets.
I was very excited about this game when it first launched. But the scale is just so off putting that I can’t get anyone in my local area interested in it, so its just been a non-starter. I don’t understand why game companies decide to go with their own scale like this (Dark Age is another example) … people who do heroic 28MM have loads of terrain, etc. and this stuff is just off enough that it doesn’t work. Honestly Spartan would probably make a ton of secondary sales for people wanting to proxy this stuff as 40K, etc. …… Read more »
I have a 80% painted FSA force, should look at getting a “red” force at somepoint
I picked up some 2nd hand, primed FSA troops from my LGS purely for the look of the models. Really happy with them, just got to give them a paint job that’s worthy. Just like my 40k habit, collecting and painting is a huge part of the hobby.
Also had a look at the rule system and it seems like fun.
Interestingly Modiphius’ Achtung Cthulhu uses Dystopian Legoins 2.0 system but boasts it is designed to work along side other 28mm ranges. DL = 32mm?
I am very keen to buy Achtung Cthulhu but want to integrate my DL minis.
Maybe not.
