Snap Up Spirits & Sentinels For GCT’s Bushido This Month
August 26, 2024 by brennon
GC Studios has released a new set of miniatures for their 35mm Fantasy wargame, Bushido. There are miniatures for plenty of different factions focusing on the Silvermoon Syndicate.
Fudo, The Illuminator // Bushido
We start with Fudo, The Illuminator for the Silvermoon Syndicate. As you might have guessed by his weapons of choice, he learned to blow landers and show off to the crowd. He has been able to use this skill to make those lanterns burn up violently and potentially explode - an interesting skill. He can use his abilities to make melee attacks more reliable and those signal lanterns mean he can tell everyone to act at once, wrecking the tempo of your opponent's activations.
Sticking with the Silvermoon Syndicate, we also have Nachin & Kibin.
Nachin & Kibin // Bushido
These urchins are the first of a new batch that the Silvermoon Syndicate can make use of. They are perfect for outmanoeuvring the foe, both scouting the tabletop and potential objectives as well as supporting other miniatures in your collection. They can use their Lost In The Crowd ability to slip away when enemies close in and punish overeager aggressors.
Last but not least for the Silvermoon Syndicate, you can also get The Path Of A Thousand Names Themed Warband.
Path Of A Thousand Names Warband // Bushido
This set comes with a travelling troupe that uses a bit of light entertainment to cover for the Silvermoon Syndicate's antics. You get some great miniatures in the set (unfortunately, the picture of the contents is a bit small but it is HERE).
The main theme of the box is more support miniatures for the Silvermoon Syndicate that can disrupt your foes. You also have the new Fan Dancers who act together to overpower your foes.
More New Miniatures
Whilst the Silvermoon Syndicate get themselves plenty of new toys to play with, the other factions aren't being left out. Warui is a brand new miniature for those playing as the Cult Of Yurei.
Warui // Bushido
Warui is a terrible and malignant spirit trapped within the confines of a skeletal frame. He can fight in his skeletal form but once that breaks, his spirit escapes and can take on the form of any of the Kami in the game. This means that you can make use of some seriously cool abilities that the Cult Of Yurei might not have been able to make use of before. Warui could also become the powerful Wraith which is one of the most feared miniatures in Bushido.
The Descension also get a new miniature in the form of Daranibe.
Daranibe // Bushido
Whilst I'm not a massive fan of Tengu, I do like the look of the faction in Bushido. Daranibe is a fun new miniature for the faction and whilst she has been banished from the sky, she is able to dash across the battlefield on foot at speed! She can ignore obstacles on the battlefield as she leaps over them and even charge multiple times!
The Shiho Clan finishes off the releases for this month with the Wolf Spears.
Wolf Spears // Bushido
The Wolf Spears fight like their namesake. They work together and use the Wolf's Teeth, wielding spears in a coordinated strike against the enemy. They are really damn good in close combat, especially when facing down exhausted miniatures that they have chased down. They are set up and activated at the same time making them a potent addition to your collection.
All of these miniatures are available for you to snap up now from the folks at GCT Studios!

Man, that yurei character looks to be a cool model. Both to paint and have it on the field.
I’m definitely picking up the Yurei model to add to my warband. A skeleton with the Durable special rule that, when it dies, gets replaced by a Kami? Yes please. The gift that keeps on giving.
