Take To The Skies With Hysterical’s Spitfyre: Aerial Combat Kickstarter
November 7, 2017 by brennon
Orcs and Dwarves are clashing in the skies of Panzerfauste with their new Kickstarter project, Spitfyre, which sees Dragons and mighty Eagles clashing in this spin-off game.
The game is presented in 10mm scale (1/200th) and offers up the chance to play with impressive looking forces of Fantasy creatures in their own unique world. You can see one of the early versions of the War Eagle here...
There are no rules to download for the game right now or indeed many indications of how it plays but I like the concept. They have already managed to double their goal on Kickstarter since beginning the campaign which is a good sign.
You can also check out some of their stretch goals including the Hurrikane Wyvern Fighter...
...and the War-Vulture Dive Bomber which will be swooping in to cause some damage to ground targets no doubt.
We actually have an early look at the model for this particular beast as well thanks to the Hysterical Games website.
The models are looking great at this early stage. I really want to see their Dragons for the Orcs as they would be my pick for this game I think.
What do you reckon to this small campaign from Hysterical Games?

Currently £25 gets you 10 ‘birds/dragons’ (one with a 11cm wingspan). And there is talk of an upcoming (in a few years ?) ‘Epic, version of ‘Panzerfauste’ for which these will be usable (have said that the ‘Epic’ scale will probably be 10mm (1/200).
Looks cool and has a great buy-in.
The rules are based on Airwar: 1917 by wessex games, which you can download for free at http://www.wargamevault.com/m/product/59836
A demo version of.the new version should be on the ks page soon
They have released a free version of the rules at
