New Silver Venators Faction Starter Set For Warcradle’s Mythos!
August 3, 2020 by brennon
More goodness from the world of Mythos now as Warcradle Studios talked about their new Faction Starter Set for the Silver Venators which is available to pre-order now. See what you make of these ace new miniatures and three badass ladies!
Silver Venators Faction Starter Set // Mythos
This is one of the newer additions to the world of Mythos and one that we'd not really explored before during the previous iteration of the game. However, once you start diving into their backstory you find that they are certainly not your run-of-the-mill Lovecraftian characters.
"Like the Custos Crypta, the Silver Venators have arrived in the middle of the Shadow War to find they are in a world much removed from their own. The Venators are a coven of huntresses who travel the angles of time as their master's demand. Each Venator is entrusted with a silvered key, an object attuned to their own Mythos energies. With their key, the Venators can travel through a narrow passage of 120 degrees or less through the gates of time. Using the knowledge of their masters, the Venators emerge from that same corner at the preordained point in the past or future."
Inside this set, you'll get the miniatures for Brigid Macleirgh, Anna Maria Goeldin, Rebecca Bateman and two of their Tyndalyth beasts. You'll also get those rather fancy looking portals which allow them to do some rather funky stuff gameplay-wise on the tabletop.

As with all of the additions to their games, Warcradle Studios has put together a lot of fluff for you to dive into with this faction. So, if their aesthetic has you interested and that little taster on the lore, I'd go and read more over on their webstore.
What do you make of these warrior women and their alien beasts?

Those look really nice. Plus gotta love some clear plastic.
Not really interested in adding Mythos to my already extensive collection of skirmish games, but those portals could be useful and the three warriors would fit some RPGs.
The portals are from the Wild West Exodus line and are available separately.
Love the horror dogs, the warriors are looking great and the portal/spell models are a handy thing to have.
Another fine and detailed set that look fantastic
YES! I have a bad feeling that I may end up picking up all of the factions for this game.
