Shout Glory, Hallelujah! For Warlord’s New Black Powder Book
March 21, 2016 by brennon
Warlord Games have another sourcebook on the way for Black Powder. This one takes you into the midst of the American Civil War between 1861 – 1865. Take a look at the cover and some of the details of what's inside Glory, Hallelujah!
"This supplement for Black Powder describes the history, armies, key leaders, doctrine and tactics of the American Civil War, and includes a comprehensive set of army lists and optional rules for recreating the battles of that war in miniature."
As well as the book in typical Warlord Games style they have also announced that you'll get a free miniature if you pre-order from them. They will give you the sniper Dead-Eye Davy who can be assembled to fight for the North or the South.
We've got some interesting gaming ahead as this era of warfare seems to be taking off once again. Although, I imagine it never really went away in the eyes of some Historical wargamers. The Perry's also supply many plastic kits for making armies for the Civil War so if you're interested it could be quite easy to get started.
What do you think - space in your library for a new sourcebook?

Nice but is he as good as Hlaine Larkin?
It’s been a long time coming. I have been picking up the odd box of Perrys here and there just waiting for an excuse to put them together. Looks like I better get going.
Good news. The pre-order says it’ll be available mid April. I’m hoping I’ll be able to pick it up at Salute…
Me too
I,ve bought Across a deadly field from the creator of ASL. And you need a lot of space if you want to play 28mm.
I´ve to see this one, maybe are they a skirmish type rules Ben?.
Is Across a deadly field better than Johnny Reb?
Just what I have been waiting for.
