TTCombat has been showing off two new crews that are going to be battling on the docks of Venice. Carnevale is about to get a little bit piratical with the Guild and Venetian Nobles scrapping over smuggled goods no doubt!

Shiphands - Carnevale

Shiphands // Carnevale

The first of the sets represents the Shiphands. This is a motley crew featuring some lovable doggos that are going to be hounding (hah) your enemies across the docks of Venice. One of the new miniatures that we've not seen before is the Whaler who is a huge fellow who is good at dragging people around the tabletop. You've also got a Smuggler and Dog Keeper who are going to be keeping everyone else in check.

Adding a splash of colour to affairs, we have the wonderful Venetian Privateers.

These Nobles have used some of the gold in their coffers to pay for Ottoman Mercenaries that have come over from Constantinople. The crew is led by a Noble Admiral and is supported by a Wayfinder. You then have the aid of Ottoman Pirates and Archers! I absolutely love the look of these miniatures and I think they would be fantastic to paint. They are full of vigour and are incredibly dynamic, just like with the rest of the Carnevale range.

If you want to really nail that watery dock-based feel for your miniatures and especially those above, maybe consider picking up these Sunken Wood Bases.

These are designed to represent a dock that might need a little bit of repair! It seems like the perfect place for a watery clash. These could also be perfect for those playing with the Rashaar and wanting to represent these strange creatures lurching out of the depths.

Are you going to be picking up these new Carnevale miniatures?
