Shieldwolf Show Off Some New Painted Miniatures!

Shieldwolf Miniatures have shown off some cool looking miniatures that will be part of their Kickstarter in early 2015. We have not only the Sorceress of the Circle but also one of the Valley Orcs (no, nothing like a Valley Girl!)...
Some great looking miniatures I think you'll agree. The Sorceress is very neat indeed and I like the way that she's pulling the spell from the very parchment ready to cast it. As they've done it gives you a great opportunity to do some object source lighting too. Her clothing is also very nicely detailed and as well as being great for a mass battle game you've got the option of her as a role-playing hero too!
The Valley Orc is also very cool and represents a hero of the faction with a great weapon. Instead of having foot on rock syndrome he has FEET on rock syndrome but that's not so bad, he has to stand on something after all. Hopefully they come with these scenic bases included. I like the style of Orc Shieldwolf have gone for with the wide open mouths filled with sharp teeth, it's a neat take on greenskins.

Those are very nice sculpts.
I don’t know… The sculpts look nice, I agree, but there’s something… wrong with the design of these miniatures. I can’t put my finger on it.
Thats my reaction as well after looking up stuff on their website ..
The sorceress is nice, just not for me. The orc I like however. I like their mountain orcs too. Very interested to see what else appears in the Kickstarter. I’m looking forward to some more good quality hard plastic fantasy figures.
