Support The Seven & Ready Crossbows In New CMON Previews
August 27, 2019 by brennon
CMON has previewed some more additions to both The Night's Watch and Lannister forces coming to A Song Of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game soon. We lead with some ragged souls watching The Wall, the Builder Crossbowmen.
These fellows are looking absolutely awesome. I love the cloaks, hoods, fur and of course, there are plenty of beards! When it comes to their use in-game they are great at offering long-range missile support and when charged they get to unleash a salvo of bolts at their foes, hopefully taking many of their enemies down in the process.
Once again, whilst I know these would be great for the game as a whole I do love the idea of dropping these into the mix along with other miniatures from the range for use in Rangers Of Shadow Deep. The only problem you'd have is finding appropriate enemies to match their scale.
Praise The Seven
If you're looking for some fools to throw at the enemy then you also have the Poor Fellows which can be included alongside your Lannister army.
With a terrible armour rating, they are going to be dying in their droves but their morale means that they are going to stand their ground and fight in as wild flagellants right in the thick of the action. They can also use their Fanatical Zeal ability in order to deal damage to their opponents too, flailing around with their...flails.
The miniatures are looking really good and it's nice to see that CMON is continuing to support the game so long after the Kickstarter. I just hope that we're going to see Baratheons, Greyjoys and more getting added into the mix soon.
What do you think of the new miniatures?

Great looking figures.
Those are very nice.
What other ranged units does Song have?
Anyway, finally a box that can also be used in Gloomhaven!
