The Season Of War Has Begun For The Age Of Sigmar Summer Campaign
July 17, 2016 by brennon
Games Workshop have got the new Season Of War campaign for Age of Sigmar underway and the battle has begun for the great cities situated within the Realm of Life. Here's how the map is looking right now...
At present the Grand Alliance of Order is in control of the Greywater Fastness, The Living City and the Phoenicium. Each of these areas is fought over by different groups.
Greywater Fastness can be fought over by folks from within the United Kingdom and then all other locations outside of the US, Canada and Europe.
The Living City is to be fought over by those within the United States and Canada.
...and the Phoenicium will be fought over by those within Europe. You can fight for any of the Grand Alliances so you have Order, Death, Destruction and Chaos to declare for.
As things progress they will be covering how the changing fortunes effect the different cities. Games at home, in Games Workshop Stores or in Independent locations will be logged to help. Even if you're not a gamer simply painting models and adding to your force will also help.
The trailer above goes into a bit more detail but I think this is a neat step in the right direction for Age of Sigmar. Now it will get a living and changing narrative enhanced by the player base which is always nice to see happening.
Who have you declared for?

Seems like no region has a chance against Order.
They have gotten most of the new shiny stuff. So not surprised there are more people playing them.
Think this whole campaign is an excellent idea and excluding of it’s motives for promoting AoS I hope GW are happy enough with it to start doing campaigns regularly again. Some of my best memories are from the 3rd War for Armageddon and Eye of Terror campaigns. Even following along with the Dark Shadows fantasy campaign was fun and I don’t even play the game.
Sounds like a good idea to get people involved once again.
Is that Phill Kelly? He looks older than I expected… a LOT older.
