Mantic Games have dropped a new set of pre-orders for their naval wargame, Armada. A new supplement is out called Seas Of Dread which offers up some new modes of play and more for those wanting to explore the Fantasy high seas of Pannithor from Kings Of War.

Seas Of Dread - Armada

Seas Of Dread // Armada

This book contains a whole host of information for adding new interactive terrain to your games of Armada alongside sea monsters and more. There are also a bunch of new scenarios for you to play which also include multiplayer offerings for those that want to introduce a bunch of different fleets into a chaotic clash on the tabletop. You can even bring ghost ships and pirates into your games with Seas Of Dread!

The first scenery pack features a selection of interactive terrain for you to use in your games, all of which come with full rules included in Seas Of Dread. The second set of fortifications can be used similarly as terrain but could also work as something more thanks to Seas Aflame.

Last but not least, you can also get your hands on a band of Sea Monsters which swim through the depths of Pannithor's oceans. I love the idea of these being a great way to level things out between players of different skill levels during games of Armada. In the chaos of a multiplayer game, these would also be a lot of fun.

Sea Monsters - Armada

Sea Monsters // Armada

Who wouldn't want to find themselves battling against the idea of a massive, monstrous narwhal? I love those impressive sea serpents as well, uncoiling themselves from the spray and getting ready to dash ships to pieces.

Could you be tempted to set sail and have a go at Armada with this new supplement?
