Seafaring Pirates & Beastmen Roam Crooked Dice’s Wasteland

Crooked Dice has been showing off more of what's arriving in 2019 with a snarling pair of Beastmen waiting in the wings.

This pair may have been animals turned into humanoids, or humans mutated and twisted into these crazy creatures. Either way, they are prowling the wasteland of the post-apocalypse looking for scrap and more.

You could imagine them living amongst the irradiated trees of a forest, chasing those who dare camp too near to their lands. They could effectively become the dark fairy tales of a blasted and ruined future.

Shipshape Stealing

As well as these Beastmen coming in the near future Crooked Dice has released two new sets which could work together as part of a scenario on the tabletop. You have the Pirates...

...who will no doubt be clambering aboard the boat owned by these poor Sailors. "I am the captain now..."

I always love seeing sets that immediately bring to mind interesting stories that you can tell on the tabletop. Whilst I've mentioned that these fellows might be good for the post-apocalypse they'd also be great for inclusion in a historical setting as well.

You could have the Sailors as poor NPCs who are being held captive by the Pirates. You then have to send in your elite team to clear the ship and rescue them.
