The Scum & Villainy Of Star Wars Fly Into X-Wing!
August 17, 2014 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games kept the Star Wars news coming with some ace looks at the Scum & Villainy range coming to X-Wing. See what you think of these star faring miscreants and their awesome looking ships...
The sets will aim to bring together a range of different pilots and ships that are driven by a common goal of spreading a bit of mischief in the outer rim and of course closer to home. A whole bunch of pilots will now be joining Boba Fett in pursuit of the Rebel scum hoping to case in some bounties and of course avoiding the Imperials too once they cross the line.
The actual designs of the ships are also brilliant and I think the Star Viper is very cool indeed.
Will you be starting a new faction for X-Wing?

Looking good, good to see new cards for existing ships coming in as well. FFG certainly know how to empty my wallet (Not that takes much)
There should be a health warning on these announcements: too much excitement can be bad for you (and your finances).
Did not see this coming. There are some clever boffins at FFG. Most of all now I have a reason to get me a HWK-290. As long as this sort of stuff keeps coming it will keep my wallet distracted from Armada.
There’s absolutely no way I can keep collecting this game the way I have been. I have to pick a faction, and stick with it now. I used to complain about the releases always being pushed off due to production problems. Now I can’t keep up with them. Maybe I can play two factions…. no, no that’s crazy talk. I can’t afford that eithe… Gaaaah! It burns. Why does it burn? I just want to pick a faction and play? Why does that hur… aaah! Stop it. Okay, okay I’ll start selling meth or something. Let’s just say I have… Read more »
Not too keen on the look of the new ships – except maybe the interceptor – but the core faction set with z-95s, a Y-Wing and upgrades for other ships is making me drool.
They’re definitely dipping more into the extended universe for these releases, but they had to eventually. I’m glad they did this instead of drawing from the prequels.
I like the new ship designs, but I think they look too clean for Star Wars. Nothing that a little wash and touching up can’t fix.
I just noticed this, but… the IG-2000 has a bunch of little tokens with that have symbols of the different factions on them. It looks like three of each, Empire, Rebel and Scum. I’m now really curious what that’s all about.
Well spotted!
How about a bounty hunting blow-ships-up-and-capture-the-pilots mission? Sounds suitably villainous.
