Black Crow Sculpt Up The Brooding Bust Of Urhuk
November 21, 2017 by brennon
Black Crow Miniatures have another stunning sculpt for you to check out today, the brooding barbarian known as Urhuk.
The impressive sculpt was done by Raul G.Latoree based on the artwork by Guillermo Gonzalez. It has a very Conan look and feel and you could imagine being a savage king who rules over his peoples and protects them from marauding tribes.
The model is begging for a great paint job where you paint his skin with the ruddy glow of a man who is out in the sun all of the time. You'd then be able to try out fur techniques on that cloak and the shield is calling out to have a unique freehand design on it as well.
I look forward to someone picking this up and showing off what they can do!
What do you reckon of Urhuk?

love it.
God this is amazing, this “totally not Conan” is beautiful
“His cheap tunc could not conceal the hard, rangy lines of his powerful frame, the broad heavy shoulders, the massive chest, lean waist and heavy arms. His skin was brown from outland suns, his eyes blue and smouldering; a shock of tousled black hair crowned his broad forehead.”
Nah, totally don’t see it either ;-P
I am all over it 🙂 Already ordered – cant wait!! Latorre is right up there in terms of my favourite sculptors so this was a must-have!
That is a truly splendid bust.
