Scibor’s Seth Fights Like A Sci-Fi Egyptian
March 12, 2017 by dracs
Scibor have released a new hero to lead their SciFi Egyptian warriors; a sickle sword wielding giant named Seth!
Scibor have fitted Seth with a massive suit of power armour. In general design, there isn't much Egyptian about him, but he is covered in enough scarabs, hieroglyphs and general iconography to make any pharaoh happy.
The one thing I don't like is the stance. Scibor have gone for a dramatic pose, caught in the act of leaping onto an enemy.
However, the bulk works against it, so instead of an agile leap he looks like a sumo wrestler stamping before a bout begins.
What are your thoughts on Scibor's latest scifi super soldier?
"He is covered in enough scarabs, hieroglyphs and general iconography to make any pharaoh happy..."

Khopesh is the name of that type of sword.
Thank you
I love the details on the figure.
Um, I’m pretty sure you’d be at least a little scared if a sumo wrestler was about to jump onto you.
I saw sumo wrestling once. Occassionally they get flung out into the surrounding crowd who are sitting in what are considered the best seats. So I guess there must be some appeal.
I’m just saying, I’d have thought the one member of BoW that’s currently in Japan would be a little less blase about the concept of “charging sumos.”
A lot of these miniatures I can take or leave, but this one I really like. I even think the pose works pretty well, managing to make an awkward suit of armour look relatively mobile.
