Scibor’s Dwarf King Mounts His Bear For Battle
January 5, 2016 by dracs
Thorin, King of Scibor's Dwarfs, has readied his war bear for battle and is now heading out from their webstore onto the gaming table.
Thorin strikes a nicely imposing figure. The sheer size of the model, coupled with the great detail of his armour and weaponry, let him stand out as a mighty leader of the dwarfs.
However, I am still not sure about that bear. It's so large it looks too lumbering and cuddly to actually be a beast of war and the end result is that Thorin appears perched on top of it, which makes him a little comical. Of course, they do fit well with Scibor's dwarf style, but its just something I am not entirely sold on.
What are your thoughts on this one guys? Would this make a good general in your army? Or do you find it a little hard to bear?

Yep, I’m getting him.
Love the warbears. I’ve got a command group of them. There is already a “king” among them. Isn’t this the same figure?
Very nice.
I have no Scibor and I am extremely jealous of those who have them in there collections. However I have plans to collect a dwarf army. My only question is I had heard these dwarves are/can be too large to mix in with other brands.
Man, that’s one poogy bear. Nice fig, just a well-fed ursine.
