Scibor’s Dwarf Female Warriors Defend Hearth & Home
July 28, 2015 by brennon
Much like the Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf Goddess Valaya Dwarven Women are no stranger to a battle. See what you think of one of Scibor's new regiment which brings together a whole host of angry ladies ready to make a goblin hordes day very bad indeed...
As you can see you get a nice selection of different faces and stances within the box so if you were looking to build up a larger regiment of these women warriors you wouldn't feel like you'd be seeing too many duplicates on a regular basis when ranked up.
The models are all well armed and armoured with a variety of painful looking hammers and axes which is great. I could see myself using them as a regiment within a larger army led by my own Queen Helga from Warhammer or as a warband of their own in any number of smaller scale Fantasy games.
I think this is a particularly awesome pack of miniatures and you can even look at getting them from the Dice Bag Lady too as she has awarded them a place among her Believable Female Miniatures range.
What do you think of them?

Those are really good. Expesially I like that head option with Princess Lea hair.
Great to see this come to fruition. About half our group are women, and I’ve been scrambling to find good models for them.
For a moment there I thought you wanted to model the women in your group and that they must be a pretty formidable bunch 🙂
On a serious note I’m interested to hear half your group are women.
I have not had much luck finding Scibor stuff here in the U.S. But I am definitely going to keep an eye out for these. Fortunately Reaper makes some decent dwarves including females as well.
Hey, I can post them for not much at all from the UK, let me know if I can be any more help! http://thedicebaglady.net/scibor-miniatures/
I love the bun roll hair that middle one has.
Have a hefty group of lass’ who play with us as well. Cant say any of them fancy dwarfs, but I would buy these on principle of how great they are!.
The women in our group aren’t drawn to them as characters either (all elves or half-elves now that I think of it. Still, good to have a more balanced tabletop.
Dwarf women have beards.
If you look closely you’ll see that some do.
Nothing stopping you from painting on some stubbles for your Dwarf Ladies. 😉
Wahey somebody just pointed me here, great to see my stamp of approval being mentioned 😀
They are indeed excellent models, I’ve been chasing to get them as soon as I saw the greens on Scibor’s Facebook!
Cheers

Very, very cool. I definitely want some of these for my Dwarf army! Bravo Scibor! Now make some Moscal versions so I can justify buying a chaos dwarf force too!
