Scibor Monstrous Bring Their Bad Guys To Kickstarter
August 26, 2024 by brennon
Scibor Teleszynski of Scibor Monstrous Miniatures is on Kickstarter right now with another campaign focused on bringing some awesome 32mm Fantasy miniatures to the tabletop. Town Guards have entered the fray already and now they have some Bad Guys to fight.
Bad Guys // Scibor Monstrous
The thrust of this campaign will be to bring together some villains and monsters for you to face during your roleplaying campaigns and in your Fantasy wargames. The core of the campaign features undead warriors but there are also wraiths, cultists and more that are split up into different sets. Each has been hand sculpted by Scibor and will be cast in grey resin.
Undead Warriors // Scibor Monstrous
If you're someone who has been in wargaming for as long as we have, Scibor will be a name that you are very well aware of. He does some amazing sculpts and they are always packed with character. Even these regular ol' Undead Warriors are looking superb and could be champions in their own right.
Undead Archers // Scibor Monstrous
The Undead humans are backed up by some Undead Dwarves who have been drawn forth from their tombs under the mountain by a powerful necromancer.

Scibor is very good on the old Dwarf front and so seeing some of his miniatures done as undead longbeards (very longbeards), is great. I like that you can then use these to mix and match a warband so it's not just a bunch of unfortunate shuffling humans.
If you're going down the route of an undead warband then you might also want to scoop up the likes of these Undead Lords. A skeletal legion would be an excellent to see on the tabletop and these would do the job as leaders.

I really like the weight of these miniatures. You get the sense that their old, magically infused bones are holding up a hefty amount of metal that would clank and grate as it moves. It's awesome for getting the feel of the range.
If you would like something a bit different, Scibor has also worked on some Cultists, mortal followers who have thrown their lot in with the necromancer that summoned these beings into life.
Cultists // Scibor Monstrous
Wraiths and more are also available plus the Stretch Goals for the campaign have also unlocked a Necromancer who can lead this cult of the damned.

There are just eight days left of this campaign from Scibor Monstrous and it is well funded. So, if you're looking for new undead miniatures to add to your collection, this might be the campaign for you. The rest of the Scibor range is also stunning.
Will you be grabbing some bad guys?

Lovely looking fundead
Nice looking old-school figures. Yet, it’s always odd that skeleton figures in general fill out all of their clothes/armor with no apparent flesh or muscles to add bulk/volume, let alone any connecting leather straps that would have probably rotted away as well as said flesh.
Man alive, is there anyone close to Scibor’s skill at sculpting? No shade at anyone else, but he’s beyond next-level.
Uh, reads a bit like a challenge. I like it. =) Careful though about the deep waters…
No shade and all and your enthusiasm for Scibor is really great. But if this is beyond next level, to me there’s an easy nuke out there:
Allan Carrasco.
I feel this guy is just above and beyond in sculpting – minute details, feeling physicality, using three dimensions, composition.
One word: Boris! *mic drop*
Eh, lost your talky aid there, friend…
Hope that statement was aimed towards Scibor, not Allan. Otherwise you’d really need all your tools around for that stand… ;P
(To be clear: just some friendly jesting, I respect Boris’ skills as I do Scibor’s!)
undead dwarves … and the snails … they are proper disgusting 😀
im being taught how to play frostgrave tomorrow so the timing on this is good, looks like my wizard will be a necromancer!
