Scibor Miniatures Look To Some Studious Dwarves

Scibor have turned from the battlefield to more learned and studious pursuits with their upcoming Dwarves. This new set which is on the workbench look like they have spent a lot of time in the libraries of the world of working on old texts and recording grudges...
I think these Dwarves look great and they would be fantastic for use in D&D games as Sorcerers, Wizards and other learned folk. I could also see them fitting into the world of The Witcher quite nicely as they have that Slavic design to their clothing.
I think this is a great set and I prefer it to their armoured designs. While I know that they are some of the best Dwarves out there I just can't get past the way Scibor do armour. Clothes and travelling garb on the other hand - awesome!
You can also see some work on another Dwarven hero and some mounts including a horse and a leaping goat.

I think my Frostgrave Dwarf Warband just got its new Mage and Apprentice.
I have not yet bought any scibor dwarves as I am told they are bigger than the normal gaming dwarves. Any one shed any light on that please.
Got a few on order so let you know. Not noticed any size issues with the bear riders
I have a bunch of the bear riders as well. They look just fine. 🙂
They do tend to appear larger as they often come on rather tall bases. If based on ‘regular’ bases I think they might still be slightly larger but not vastly so. They are some of the best mini’s I’ve ever brought, just amazing sculpts (I even brought two of the beer drinking dwarf).
As @wesadie1969 has said, the above will almost certainly be making it into my Frostgrave Warband… now I just need to spend the next few years improving at painting to vaguely do them justice.
Those do look really promising.
I do like their dwarves. My only criticism I have of their range is that there does not to be a huge variety of heads – They are your ‘go to’ people if you want a bald dwarf…

Each one is very unique and I could see them on my shelf.
