Scibor Bust Out a Sci-Fi Celtic Warrior
May 2, 2012 by brennon
Certainly not table top worthy but a good painting project, Scibor Miniatures have bought out a new Sci-Fi bust. This time its of a Celtic Warrior from their smaller 28mm range.
Plenty to work with on this model, from the detailing on the shoulders and chest plate to the facial features. You even have a fair bit of polished yet untouched armour to go to work with your freehand skills.
Will you be picking one of these up to decorate your gaming cave?

That has plenty of nice detail.
I think this is Scibors first sci-fi bust. It looks great! LOts of smooth areas for free hand work and lots of small details to take your time on. This is what a bust should be like. Two thumbs up for this 🙂
It’s not their first:

It’s the exact same base with new detail tacked on – it looks OK (I like the head a lot, there’s some nice beard and expression work in that) but I think the body is a bit too egg-shaped and more could have been done to differentiate these busts.
Looking at the both of them, I think this one has more life to it and is over all better looking.
