Scibor Bring Out Dwarves From Both Past & Future
September 28, 2015 by dracs
Scibor Monstrous has been working hard a wide variety of new dwarves, all of which have just appeared on the sculpting bench as they get their finishing touches.
Here we see some of Scibor's scifi dwarves placed alongside their fantasy compatriots. I think that Scibor has done a good job in giving these tabletop gaming staples their own style, although I still think that their scifi ones are impractically bulky, even alongside other such figures.
I particularly like the large bellied fantasy dwarves. They look every inch the barbarian beserker and you could imagine them either barreling into the enemy, or downing a barrel in one go. For some reason though, whenever I look at them I think of this guy.
I'd have to paint them like that. The Romans will never know what hit them.
Do you prefer Scibor's scifi or fantasy dwarves?

You can never have too many Scibor dwarfs.
The space dwarves seem to have copied the space marine fashion of wearing skirts.
