Sci-Fi “Ooh Rah” Marines Coming From Wargames Atlantic

Wargames Atlantic has been previewing more of their upcoming plastic miniatures. Sci-Fi is the name of the game as Death Fields expands with the "Ooh Rah" Marines.

Leading the way, we have the Ooh Rah Sergeant here who is armed with one of the rifles that this team can use in the midst of battle. Other weapon options beyond standard rifles (and their underslung grenade launchers) include pistols, shotguns and squad support weapons.

The miniatures come in all manner of different poses and they look like perfect "meat heads" to throw into all manner of generic Sci-Fi wargames. I could see these dropping into the likes of Warpath supporting the humans of Mantic's galaxy.
I know a lot of folks would be very happy to throw these Marines up against all manner of terrible alien beasts to see just how long they might survive.

With so many different Sci-Fi games out there that have basic humans, this seems like a good slot for Wargames Atlantic to fill on the shelf. They have proven that they can make fantastic and modular plastic miniatures so I could see a lot of folks picking these up.

Ooh Rah, some fantstic work in progress from WGA, I beleive these won the recent vote for one of this years sci-fi releases so we may see later in the year!
This will make a lot of stargrave fans happy
the heads are a bit big for the body … but they do look better than the imperial guard from that other company
So these look aces and do put me in mind of those hard plastic Sci-Fi USMC Troops that came out YEARS ago, then the company went bust. Same bunch Warlord brought a load of the tooling for plastic Ancients from.
Also, anyone seen that Wargames Atlantic are tooling up plastics for Reptillian Overlords of their not-at-ALL-Catachans-no-guv-honest Space Nam troopers? They look a bit tasty….
This is a surprisingly good look for these not-Imperial Guardsmen! It’s also kind of surprising to see any not-IG kits at all with this kind of modern flair to them without going outright Colonial Marine.
