The Scarlet Scourge Cometh With New Crooked Dice 7TV Releases
March 25, 2024 by brennon
The Scarlet Shocktroopers and their various masterful overlords are coming to dominate Pulp tabletops in games like 7TV and beyond. Crooked Dice showed off some fun new releases for the month of April that you'll be able to pick up next month at the likes of Salute.
The Red Baron // Crooked Dice
We start with some characters like the dastardly Red Baron. Maybe he and Count Binface could get into a scrap at the local elections. I like that he comes with that alternative head as well featuring that well-manicured moustache.
More characters are also on the way like Commander Kuro who looks like he's the one who actually gets stuff done. Rocking two guns, he seems like he's primed for a good shootout.

They can both be put in charge of the villainous footsoldiers known as the Scarlet Shocktroopers. Pure Pulp awesomeness I think you'll agree. I really like the idea of bad guys being in bright, poppy uniforms so it's easy to see who your heroes should be picking out in a punch-up!

When you want to lay down the hurt a little more, you've also got one of the Scarlet Shocktroopers with a Bazooka. Of all the heavy weapons, a bazooka seems like the most Pulp. I think it's because it's become so engrained within popular culture.

Stepping away from the foot troops to some more specialists, we also have some named foes for you to throw into your games. How about the Scarlet Sea-Devil and the Scarlet Automaton?

Both of these "most definitely would have been toys in the 80s and early 90s" miniatures are also going to be available for April, giving you some more fun miniatures to paint up. You've got some great miniatures to choose from here and I like that these specialists offer you some nice ways to break from the endless scarlet, if only for a moment.
More Characters & New Releases
As well as that legion of Scarlet, we also have some additional characters for you to pick up over the course of April. You've got Temporal Traveller 5J for example...

...or if you want to go entirely different and change up things drastically, there's also the Small Town Crooks! I sense you might need some good drivers to deal with these particular foes!

These miniatures then join up with the rest of the line-up for the month of April giving you some proper gems to scoop up.

The Maverick Cops are another awesome addition to the collection and I do like the Galactic Marine Pilot! With so many people excited about the idea of Sci-Fi-based combat featuring bugs and robots at the moment; that Marine Pilot seems a solid pick for a themed scenario or two.
Are you going to be diving in and picking up these miniatures from Crooked Dice?

The Red Baron and his forces are very appealing… and there’s Boss Hogg with Rosco P. Coltrane and his dawg…
But come on Crooked Dice… we need Daisy Duke!!!
