ScaleBro Tell Tales Of Meowland With Furry New Collection

ScaleBro has a new set of six miniatures for those who love combining their fondness for cats with Fantasy adventures. See what you make of these dumpy little fellows for the Tales Of Meowland!

These wonderful little creatures were sculpted by Alexander Kovalev and give you a fancy selection of heroes for you to use in your tabletop games. Their somewhat chibi nature would make them really good for use in board games and the like plus they would also work very well in a roleplaying format as well.
I decided that, in true 'me' fashion, I'd check out some of my favourites from this little selection here too starting with the very stealthy looking Meowrisa.

This fellow is looking rather detailed indeed and I love the detail that has been included in the outfit. I think you could have a lot of fun playing around with fur painting techniques and also potentially coming up with some colourful options for her clothing.
You've also got the wizardly Meowrona who will end up being the mystical heart of your group. I think this fellow would be nicely done with ginger fur and a deep grey outfit.

Finally, we have something a little bit different with the Sir Lancepuff miniature. This fellow could be painted up in shining armour or perhaps you could scuff him up!

These really are adorable miniatures and they would be wonderful to see painted up. I think folks could do some fun 'toy box' style schemes for these which would make them neat options for those who want to get people roleplaying at a younger age.
What do you make of these new heroes?

Mmmm ? nice sculpts, but odd.
My thoughts exactly.
Im not really a huge fan of the cartoon style minis but too be fair my niece took one look at them and went into full little girl mode with a loud Awwwwwwwww so whoever designed these has ticked the cute box. Still has me thinking about Sylvainan Murder Families.
Very nice idea but I genuinely thought they were mice because of the proportions.
If you look closely, the detail and textures on their clothing is amazing. Would be fun to paint.
Though i might prefer to paint on such details and textures they are very good. I took a look at their website and it looks like it is something they do to all their miniatures. For anyone who’s interested a good example is the Rat Splin: https://scalebro.com/miniatures/monster-box/sharp-tails-fantasy-football/rat-splin- .
I think that maybe the increase in capabilities for texture in 3D printing, or atleast how we’ve come to realize the design potential, is just increasing with how deeply detailed we want to become.
I’d say that you can see that kind of leap in the manual sculpting of Ral Partha and Grenadier to Reaper by the work Julie Guthrie has done.
Purrrfect looking figures for game,ers.Lol
Those are so adorable.
