Sally 4th has just announced a new range of Victorian figures sculpted by Iain Lovecraft with their new range Second Star to the Right.

28mm-Peter-Pan-Tinkerbell-Tiger-Lilly-1-scaled

The boy, the princess and the fairy // Sally 4th

The first set contains a flying Tinkerbell and Peter, alongside the princess Tiger Lilly and a befooted version of the boy who never grew up. All beautifully rendered into life by Iain Lovecraft. I'm particularly fond that Tinkerbell is just the same size as Peter as I wouldn't fancy having to paint a 5mm tall version.

While Peter is a simple sculpt with his impish grin and restrained outfit, Iain has still added a touch of detail with the leaf design around his shoulders. Meanwhile Tiger Lilly has some delightful patterning on her dress that should be very helpful for non-painters to get a good finish while opening up the mini for a ton of additional detailing if you fancy it.

28mm-Peter-Pan-Darling-Children-1-scaled

Darling children and dog // Second Star to the Right

Wendy, John, and Michael are off ready for adventures in Neverland with Peter and Tink and they look incredible. The little touches really make them stand out, again Wendy's night gown has some lovely detailing around the hem and the star pattern. John has the air of a boy trying to be a man with umbrella and tophat boldy pressing forth, but my favourite has got to be Michael Nicholas with his teddy clutched protectively in front of him.

and of course Nanna is there to keep the children from getting into too much trouble!

28mm-Peter-Pan-Lost-Boys-2-scaled

The Lost Boys // Followers of the Pan!

Sleep all day, party all night. Possibly the wrong Lost Boys there, never mind. NEVERLAND!! Yes, six whimsical mischief makers armed with clubs, catapults, wooden swords and if needs be fists. Ready to take on any ne'er do wells that may stand in their way, or just generally cause bedlam in the name of fun. A Wonderful set of figures, I think I see one dressed as a squirrel.

28mm-Captain-Hook-Smee-2

Hook handed pirate captain and mate

No adventure would be worth its salt without an antagonist to butt heads with, and here we have a pair of rogues in Hook and Smee. Ready to chase down Peter and deal with his Lost Boys once and for all they're a dastardly duo to hunt the Darlings and their new found friends. Hook is delightful with nice crisp lines on the lace and facings of his clothes and a majestic head of hair curled around him. While Smee seems to have been packing on the pounds as he listens to his captain's orders to capture the Boy!

Iain has done a magnificent job in bringing these to the tabletop and Chris at Sally 4th has even put together a set of free cards if people fancy playing some Pulp Alley games off in the world of make-believe.

Now who makes a 28mm ticking crocodile?
