Two Saints & A Sting In The Tail For Dark Age This Month
February 28, 2016 by brennon
Two more Saints and a rather large beast have been spotted for the world of Dark Age this month. We'll kick things off with the Saints of course as characters leading from the front with the Forsaken's Saint Johann and Saint Luke, Bastion of Faith...
Saint Johann has been re-sculpted but I don't think that they've done much to him. If I remember he was more or less posed the same in the old sculpt which we saw last year. I think he certainly looks like a deadly warrior and has enough blades that's for sure.
Saint Luke also follows in his footsteps with that rather small looking head atop some massive shoulders. I quite like this piece although the guns mounted on the back of the bull came as a bit of a surprise. It's a shame you can't see the head of his weapon here but I think it's a spear of some kind.
Last but not least we have The Scorpius for the Forsaken building on their faction even more.
I like this model for the mix of the organic and the mechanical. I think they've done well to blend the two and while it might be hard to achieve when painting it should be a fun challenge. You also have plenty of oppertunity to work on battle damage and battered metal when working on this beast.
What do you think of this crop of releases?

Those are stunning.
I like them but, is it just me or is Saint Luke’s head a little on the tiny side?
No, it’s just that his shoulders are on the mega-manly side.
Love alot of the Dark age minis, but really dont know where to get them
Does any store in EU have the full dark age range?
CMON webstore is the best for DA range if you live in Europa. I’m living in France and the delivery costs are really cheap (around 6 euros)
they look interesting Scorpius looks good I don’t know about the wheels? but.
That Luke model is great, only issue is the front legs are not planted on the ground yet not reared high enough to give it a charging look.
