Roll Out The Heavy Mag Cannon For The Freeborn Of Antares
September 27, 2017 by brennon
If you're looking for punishing firepower then maybe add the new Heavy Mag Cannon into your Freeborn army for Beyond The Gates Of Antares by Warlord Games.
As you might imagine this gun is focused on ripping holes through armour and turning infantry into a red mist if it should ever hit them. Not only does the actual round that's fired puncture armour, but it leaves behind a disruptor field which inverts and crushes local space.
So, if you were sitting inside a tank and this hit you, it would blow up your vehicle AND turn you into a shattered piece of spacetime too.
The Freeborn certainly is one of the most striking armies from Beyond The Gates Of Antares and they have a great Starter Army you can pick up too.
Let us know if you'll be picking up the Heavy Mag Cannon and some more of these Freeborn models for your tabletop adventures.
Do you play this Sci-Fi game from Warlord?

love the mag cannon.
Looks really nice. The Freeborn starter looks like a great box too. BtGoA is a game I do have a small collection for , but really do feel that I should spend more time on . The qality of these sculpts just emphasises this.
Really nice sculpt.
I’ve been steadily collecting stuff for this game, but not been able to play it yet. Would love a bootcamp or something along those lines!
While people start to talk about Stargrave they may want to consider these figs as well. Although I still think Gates is the best Sci Fi Skirmish game or even mass battle system out their currently.
