Ride Out With The Light Cavalry Of Perry Miniatures At Salute!
February 24, 2015 by brennon
Perry Miniatures have painted up some examples of the cool Light Cavalry 1450-1500 that will be charging into battle at Salute 2015 this year. These painted miniatures have been done by the hand of Simon Chick and they look great!
As you can see there is quite the range of options for these mounted soldiers as you'd expect from a Perry Miniatures kit. There are going to be twelve of them in the box and they can be assembled as Hobilers, Coustiliers, Mounted Crossbowmen or Mounted Bowmen. There will also be a command option to lead them into the fighting.
Here is one of the rider sprues showing off some of the options in more detail. You get a really good selection of heads and the addition of plenty of extras to make your cavalry look like an army on the move. Can't forget those all important quivers of arrows and pouches of crossbow bolts!
What form would your cavalry take?

Those are very good.
Damn. I already have a bucket of light cav from Wargames Foundry… and… I picked up boxes of Crusaders and Teutonic Knights from Fireforge. One day, my little beauties 🙂 .
Yay, finally! Now I can finish my Empire army.
Wahoo! I’ll be getting at least one box of these once I’ve got through around 100 Perry WOTR infantry.
