Rhino Smashes His Way Into Marvel: Crisis Protocol Soon!
December 1, 2022 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games dropped another preview of what's coming in 2023 for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. This time around, another Spider-Foe enters the fray with the massive Rhino storming out onto the streets to cause havoc for Spider-Man and his companions.

This miniature represents the classic Rhino that a lot of folks will be familiar with from the 90s cartoon and the like. I really like that they went for this version of the character as it ticks all of those nostalgia boxes! With his durable second skin grafted to his body, this fellow is tough and strong and isn't going anywhere without a properly brutal right hook.

I really like the posing for Rhino as well, smashing the tarmac to pieces and getting ready to lunge for his foe. This should make for some seriously dynamic showdowns when you've got Spider-Man facing off against him.
This new Rhino set builds on the already impressive set of Spider-Foes which sits around eight or nine miniatures at this point. There are a few notable absences but I would imagine if we're getting Rhino then we might see a few more villains popping up in 2023.
At least Peter Parker has Mile Morales and Gwen Stacey to help him when it comes to bringing the gang together to defeat these Spider-Foes.
What do you make of the new Rhino miniature for Marvel: Crisis Protocol?

He looks really nice.
He’s changed a bit since he was on Gladiators
A smashing?? looking figures for gamers.
Going with the classic look was absolutely the best option. I was worried they’d have gone with the mechanical/mech looking version of the character. Yeah, it probably would have looked more “realistic” but this is a comic book inspired game. Let the crazy and impractical designs fly!
C27 Miniatures do a brilliant range of “fan-art” MCP figures. There Rhino is excellent. The official one here looks just as good to be fair.
I alternate between buying the C27 ones and the Atomic Mass game ones – normally picking up weird and obscure stuff AMG probably will never get round to doing (Daken anyone? Strye?, or even Alpha Flight!).
But I would definitely get Rhino – still need to get around to buying the Super Soviet Team AMG released – as they look excellent.
