If you're looking to stab some people in the back and get a bit of revenge, you might want to call on the new set of 28mm metal miniatures from Footsore Miniatures & Games for Gangs Of Rome. We start with The Idles Of March.

The Idles Of March - Gangs Of Rome

The Idles Of March // Gangs Of Rome

The Idles Of March is a set of three different characters for you to add to your Gangs Of Rome, all equally ready to undercut, backstab and ultimately ruin the lives of their rivals. The first of the miniatures (going from left to right) is Cephas Antonius.

He is as corrupt as they come and has useful knowledge of the population thanks to his work alongside the local magistrate. He is also a deadly poisoner which is going to be great for slipping up behind someone and making them very ill after a visit to the tavern.

The second of the miniatures (middle) is Christophos who was a skilled member of the Vigiles (Roman cops!) until he got too close to the corruption at the top of society. He was thrown in prison and stewed for many years, vowing to get his revenge. He has now turned to the underworld (you) to see if he can finally take down that corrupt senator and get his revenge.

Finally, we have the rogue who goes by the nickname, Venator. He is a teacher of the unfortunate children of the insulae giving them the skills they need to succeed. Now they can read, write and steal/stab you in the back.

The thing that binds all of these characters is that they go after the rich, seeking to spread the wealth amongst the populace a little more. I wouldn't say they're quite on the level of Robin Hood though.

Thief In The Night

The second of the miniatures available on general sale is the Crouching Thief.

Crouching Thief - Gangs Of Rome

Crouching Thief // Gangs Of Rome

Sneaking around in the back alleys of Rome, this fellow will be able to pilfer objectives and equipment from Gang Fighters without their notice. They can then sneak away and blend in making them super hard to catch. Hiring a good thief seems agiven when running a criminal operation although you'll need to watch your own purse as well!

Are you going to be picking up these new characters for Gangs Of Rome?
