Retro Beastmen & Their Abominable Leader Appear For Crooked Dice’s 7TV
January 2, 2019 by brennon
Crooked Dice has now released their new Beastmen for use in the post-apocalypse and pretty much any realm you could think of within 7TV. Check out the band of misfits below, brought to life by their evil Abomination.
I'm sure you're getting some of the same Thundercats vibes that I got when I first saw these. These characters would be awesome for those trying to put together a properly quirky adventure on the tabletop with a solid retro vibe. You could imagine them being the foes of some dashing heroes and heroines as they go to a distant moon, transported by a crackpot scientist.
Of course, all of your adventures will then lead to you facing the Abomination at the end of it!
You would have to get stuck into these and paint them up in the poppy colours we see above I think to get that proper look and feel, it just wouldn't be right otherwise!
Hopefully, Crooked Dice work through a few more of these in the future for those looking to play out a different style of Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Post-Apocalyptic adventure.
What do you think?

Thundercats HOOOO! I love those. Also timing is really interesting since RobTheWonderful just reviewed classic 80’s Thundercats cartoon.
Frickin’ amazing.
Ooh raa-mum and his backing singer’s ?
Legal for AoS Beastman army? Who wouldn’t love to see that without warning across the table at a tournament. Now if they can hurry up and do some awesome Transformers models I might have to give them my money.
Rather dig them, Crooked Dice do good work. That said I do wonder how long they can keep getting away with what is essentially constant IP infringement / theft. Their last Kickstarter only had a few original designs, the rest were direct copies of figures from properties owned my companies like Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros………that is going to backfire at some point.
