Redstar Draft In A New Squad Of 1954 Vietminh
August 12, 2015 by brennon
Redstar Miniatures have put together a new set of metal miniatures for their mid-nineteenth century wargames being fought during the First Indochina War. See what you think of the Vietminh, all posed ready to attack...
This is certainly a conflict that I don't know a lot about but I imagine it was about the right time for all the Cold War worrying that was gripping the world.
As a unit they have some nice options with rifles and even a machine gun if needed. I like the chap with the grenade the best. They all seem to come with their entire kit too, a huge amount of equipment. It almost seems like they've been ambushed on the march.
What do you think?

Arggh, what scale are these? I didn’t see it in the site. If 15mm, they would go great with FoW Tour of Duty.
28mm I think
They make 28mm modern stuff too! Their ‘soviet’ guys rule.
