Reaper Preview Mighty New Heroes Ahead Of ReaperCon 2022
August 26, 2022 by brennon
Reaper Miniatures has been working with artist Max Dunbar and sculptors like Gene Van Horne, Jason Wiebe, Bobby Jackson to bring to life some awesome Fantasy miniatures for ReaperCon 2022.
Byverion Of The Thornforged // Reaper Miniatures
Each of these miniatures is linked to a larger faction of models but could easily be worked into a range of different roleplaying games depending on what you're playing. Whilst these have been designated as ReaperCon releases for the event starting 1st September 2022, they will be available to buy online and will also arrive on their webstore shortly after to buy at regular retail.
Karabi "The Boar" Bryggs // Reaper Miniatures
The first miniature for Byverion fights for the Thornforged whilst this fellow, Karabi, is at the head of the Knights Of The Ottersmark. Switching things up, there is also the lithe and deadly Turvyn, an Elf that fights for the Ghostwalkers.

Last but not least, we have another female miniature in the form of Terezinya who works for the Bone Panders within this narrative unfolding at ReaperCon.
Terezinya // Reaper Miniatures
It sounds obvious but the details here are amazing and I love what the folks at Reaper have been doing with these miniatures. As mentioned, Max Dunbar (who is an amazing artist!) has been working on the concept art that inspired these miniatures and it's well worth taking a peek at more of his work over on Facebook.
Terezinya Art By Max Dunbar // Reaper Miniatures
I picked out my favourite of the bunch, Terezinya, above. Dunbar has done work in the past inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and the characters of Critical Role so it's no wonder that he was asked to help with this project.
Are you going to be picking up these miniatures from ReaperCon or online?

Proper minis and not renders. Noice!
It’s a tough call, because they all look great; but, out of those four, I gotta go with Turvyn the elf. I’m not that big into elves, but that’s a good-looking mini!
This post highlights why often, especially for boardgames, I rather have standees over miniatures, the art looks far better than the associated miniature.
A Brilliant questing group just add a dwarf for trap finding.
Very good quality sculpts for the new release. Reaper’s material quality has gotten better from the early days of starting with Bones.
Those look really nice.
