April’s Reaper Bones Black Orc Shaman Conjures Magical Forces
April 3, 2019 by brennon
April has arrived and that means another special Reaper Miniatures character or creature for you to snap up. Since this year is focused on Reaper Bones Black we got introduced to Surkar, Orc Shaman.
The Reaper Bones Black range is again offering up cheap and cheerful miniatures for you to use in your role-playing and skirmish games. This fellow, sculpted by Jason Wiebe looks particularly awesome and again a lot of extra effort has been put into building up the detail when it comes to painting. Michael Proctor has done a great job.
I think if I was going to use him in a story I'd have him as an old git of an Orc who isn't actually fussed with hurting the players. Instead, he's more concerned about his own survival and so helps out the players as they take on marauding Orcs...for a fee of course.
A few of our community members have had a bit of fun with the Bones Black range so they'll be able to offer up their thoughts on it as a material. Personally, I think it seems like a good way to get more creatures to the tabletop for Dungeon Masters!
What do you make of this new Orc?

A Brilliant looking shaman.
Looks a bit like Yodas cousin or something XD
Must have! I’ll need at least three, one for each brigade command group in my orc army.
IMHO, the Reaper Black plastics is way better than the older white plastic. I want Bones 5 Kickstarter that is all Reaper Black Plastic.
That looks really nice.
