Reach into Anime Memories in Osprey’s Ravens of Thri Shahashri
March 2, 2016 by dracs
Osprey Publishing have something new set to come out in May, an anime styled cooperative card game where players take a psychic delve into their memories. Look out for The Ravens of Thri Shahashri.
Anime girl Ren has become trapped within her own mind, and it is up to her psychic friend Feth to save her (because what anime character doesn't have a psychic friend?). In the game, one player controls the Deck of Memories, while the other is only allowed to communicate by placing cards. Together, they must save Ren before the ravens come to devour her memories.
In set-up this game sounds a little bit like Mysterium, which is a fantastic game in its own right. However, its anime influence and two player focus suggest a rather different experience. As a lover of both anime and cooperative gaming, this will be one to keep an eye on for its release on May 19th.
Dare you face the ravens of Ren's mind in Osprey's next card game?

Sounds good to me.
Looks like I know what I’ll be taking to play at Amecon 😉
Why do they keep coming up with stuff I like? Is Oseprey stalking me?!?
I wonder if someone will do a miniature based game in maybe 35mm for painting opportunities and the like. I cannot see an issue with the miniatures as they could easily be brand new imagery, and there is a ready made audience I believe who would collect even if they did not play..
I like this for the fact it’s outside the norm for Osprey, I ‘ll definitely take a deeper look into Ravens.
