Rats & Spiders! New Miniatures Join GCT Studios’ Bushido

Some excellent new miniatures were previewed this week for GCT Studios' 35mm wargame Bushido. There are some fascinating characters on the way for several different factions but we're starting with the sneaky rat Kira'a!

Kira'a // Bushido

Kira'a might have been overlooked by the rest of her brood when she was younger but that has made her into a brutally efficient killer. She is now a ruthless murderer for the Cult Of Yurei and should be a great addition to your roster, rushing out to claim objectives and then using her tenacious killer instincts to "die well".

From one swordsman to another, here we have the keen Ito Yuno.

Ito Yuno // Bushido

Ito Yuno can make herself quite a nuisance to enemies that she chooses to cut down. With her Rampage and Vault abilities, she can get to places you wouldn't expect and because she doesn't suffer penalties for using split attacks she is going to cut down a fair few of her enemies I'd suspect.

Going from the terrifying to the fluffy, we have Byiba for the Temple Of Ro-Kan.

Byiba // Bushido

Byiba is the definition of a good boy and will do all they can to protect those that they watch over, be it physical or spiritual damage. The Warning Bark is a great way for you to shock your warband into action and the Bite attack might be just what you need to take down an interloper to the temple.

Magic is afoot with the next character, Hoshi Machiko.

Hoshi Machiko // Bushido

Mastering the power of ice for the Minimoto Clan, Hoshi can use her magic to bust through even the most well-crafted of Samurai armour. Twin that with her ability to use Blizzards to her benefit and she's not just a good ranged attacking option for the Minimoto Clan.

The creepy caps off this set of previews from GCT Studios for Bushido as The Awoken get more eight-legged allies.

Touwa // Bushido

Firstly, we have Touwa who comes laden down with poison tokens which will eventually kill him. However, his abilities allow him to share that damage with those enemies that he chooses to "bless". Being cheap to hire and acting like something off a glass cannon, Touwa might be a powerful addition to the faction.

Lastly, look away arachnophobes as we have the Endless Procession Of Arachnid Prescence.

These terrifying swarms can be created by The Awoken during your games and will surge across the tabletop causing chaos. They are also durable because of their numbers which means that clearing them off the battlefield is going to be a task. Lovely.
