Fill The Rashaar Full Of Bolts With New Carnevale Previews
December 12, 2019 by brennon
TTCombat has been showing off a few new characters that are making their way into the mix for Carnevale next year. Leading the way is the Demagogue, a character taking command of the Rashaar on the tabletop.
This follower of Dagon has her sights firmly set on converting as many people as possible. She will be using her charisma to lure folks to her cause and then branding them with her fiery Rashaar symbol in order to indoctrinate them into her cult of the damned.
Aim & Fire
As well as this follower of cosmic dread we've also got someone who is out to try and put a stop to all of this magical nonsense. Here is the Scorpio Marksman and his Altar Boy.
Looking to try and put down the darkness within La Serenissima, this pair are set to the task of firing those massive bolts into creatures both big and small. This giant of a man does all the fighting whilst the boy carries his spare bolts and hands them over to him when it is time to reload.
There are still playtest rules in effect for this particular fellow but it is safe to say that his shot can not only smash home but then send you reeling back across the cobbles and tiles too. I like this, a nice bit of inventive storytelling which will add more flavour to their appearance on the tabletop.
What do you make of these two previews?

It’s been a while since I’ve played Carnevale but hoping to fit in into the new year and can definitely see these new models adding some interesting aspects to the game.
Nice great detailed figures.
The Marksman really reminds me of a classic monster hunter, or a character from Warmachine with his crazy over-sized crossbow. I also like how he’s got some poor kid to follow him around and hand him ammo; I almost think he should be on a separate base, like Gearhart and Clogg.
