Ral Partha Re-Release Demonworld Core Rulebook
August 31, 2015 by brennon
Ral Partha have re-released the Core Rulebook for Demonworld removing the need for hexes in game and featuring armies of smaller unit sizes. Of course they also have an entire range dedicated to the game too...
"...the demons have returned from their exile, and there is more at stake than ever before. Enemies are repelled from all sides, the races are as divided as they have ever been, and the preservation, or end, of life in the world is the final prize."
This fairly BIG Fantasy game should be fun to try out with these new rules. It would be good to hear from both new players and grizzled veterans about what they think on the rules and the new book as a whole.
As mentioned above they have a HUGE range of models for you to pick up for this game, all at 15mm scale, meaning that your battles can be a lot bigger than you might be used to.
What do you think about the re-release?

This is a pdf download and not a physical book.
Aye but still a book – just a digital one 🙂
It used to be huge game. Good to see it back
I’d love to learn more about some of the smaller scale fantasy battle games. I know Kings of War is all the regimented rage at the moment, but if I was to be tempted back into fantasy mass battle gaming, I’d be very tempted to try 10mm or 15mm. Perhaps even 6mm. But I know so little about games or miniatures ranges at these scales.
There are plenty of 10mm and 15 fantsy ranges out there if you have a serach in google
Personally I love the new Pendraken lines coming out in 10mm but there is also Magister Militum who produce a large range also in 10mm and have a good range in 15mm as well. I think MM sell the old Blood Dawn ranges in 15mm as well
This a link to some of the Pendraken Goblins I painted

They look great – thanks for the link!
I know I’ve seen bits and peices from a range of companies… It’s just always been bits and pieces. It would be nice to have an overview of what’s available, either from a single company or from across the industry. Basically yes, I’m being lazy…
Does anyone know what the relationship is/was between Ral Partha Europe and the original Ral Partha miniatures company?
