Gorgon Studios Raise The Dark Age Draugr For Battle

If you're interested in sticking some Fantasy into your Dark Age gaming then how about this new Necromancer and Draugr from Gorgon Studios? Let's get raiding some barrows!

Here we have the Necromancer who has been dabbling with the undead. The miniatures are in 28mm scale so they'd fit in with what you're already using and might be a good fit for SAGA!

Of course we can't have the Necromancer without what he's raising. First up we have their leader, a long dead warlord, the Draugr Hero.

While effectively Draugr are effectively no different than the regular undead I think that the Viking/Norse feel of them adds something to the mix. I imagine them as warriors who might not have died good deaths and instead were enraptured by Hel. Now they have been summoned back and are seeking revenge.

You can also get a small warband of Draugr to use in your games. There are enough different poses and weapon options in there for you to make a unit of Warriors for games like SAGA meaning you could drop them into the mix as your own themed warband.
