Raging Heroes Toughest Girls Of The Galaxy Now Available!
December 16, 2014 by brennon
Raging Heroes have now begun releasing their Toughest Girls of the Galaxy line for all over on their webstore. Head on over and pick your favourites which are no doubt doing to be a painters dream...
Above you can see (in order) the Iron Empire, Jailbirds, Kurganovas, and Lulus boxed sets although nearly all of these heroic individuals are available as single miniatures if you so desired.
All of their sculpts are looking very good indeed and it's nice to see them all painted up showing off exactly what they could look like once you're finished with them. I wonder if we can get Romain to paint up a few of these and show off some new techniques?
Which set is your favourite?

I’d love to see Romain tackle the Lulus set 🙂
Those except for The Lulus are really nice. The Lulus is just adorable.
Yep. The lulus would do excellent ratlings in a imperial guard army. 😉
well, if they’re done and ready then where’s mine?!!! backed this on KS ages ago… bit annoyed they’re on general sale and i havent received a single mini yet 🙁
Probably because, like me, you have at least one mini or troop box that isn’t “done” yet. There was an option to have thing shipped in waves as and when they became available but I was too cheap to do that lol
yeah me too, but still, should fulfil the orders of the KS backers first i reckon 🙁 i just want my minis!!! lol!
As a fellow backer of this that took the one shipment choice like @siygess and you I have yet to get my minis. Why because some of my choices are in the last wave, and that may be what your scenario is mate. Don’t get so down on them for finally selling some of the models they had in stock for some time now. If I was them I’d fill out the backers choices as they come in and have the overstock go right to the webstore. I’m rather surprised they didn’t do that before.
I wish they would devote as much energy to their fantasy line! These all look great, with the exception of the jailbird on the right. She looks like she’s got rickets.
I backed this so long ago that I’ve completely changed my mind what I might do with them. Originally I planned to make an Astra Militarum kill team, but since then I’ve lost all interest in the 41st Millennium.
My plan now is to use them as the basis of the ship’s officers in my Horus Heresy project.
The sculpts are beautiful and better than anything Raging Heroes have done before.
@cpauls1 Their next Kickstarter is promising to have both sci fi and fantasy versions of a Dark Elf and a warrior nun army.
Woot! I’ve only bought two mini’s from them, but they were fabulous: the mounted female standard bearer, and the big demon.
I’m definitely up for some warrior nuns for the missus’ paladin character. She needs a retinue.
@cpauls1 I don’t want to dash your hopes, but I think the nuns are only sci fi focused. I could be wrong but the concept art they have so far shown are not fantasy in any way. Think cooler looking sisters of battle and thats what they are planning to do.
Damn. I’ve been holding out for something nun-ish and tough looking. The closest anyone has come to what I’m looking for is Mantic, but their Sisterhood mini’s look a little… um… butch, and they’re not really armoured up. I guess I could just go with some of the Reaper Bones female paladins/knights.
@cpauls1 it’s true that only sci fi concept art has been shown for the Sisters of Eternal Mercy, as they are calling them. However, the last KS update to mention them, back in October, was still saying that they would be available in both sci fi and fantasy versions.
Thanks! I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
It’s strange how in that period of time of the KS campaign many of us were thinking substitute 40K models and now we look for a new use. I was thinking Astra Militarum as well, not so much now. Hope they release the rules for the game soon as it would make collecting them all the more sane.
backed this to couldn’t wait for the shipment so went for one of the backer offers buy something from the webstore and they send whats available from my pledge nice wee xmas pressie
